My German Shepherd is not quite a year old and this was exactly the right size for him. We added some litter into the legs to weight them down as it suggested in the instructions and it hasn't moved once. Easy to fill and clean as the metal bowls come out and of course it is really good for the dog., I am very pleased with this feeder. It is the perfect height for our Siberian Husky. He really likes it and will eat all his food now. I like that it is all plastic except for the bowls. I love how big the stainless steel bowls are. It is very big. Great for water.
